Magnetotelluric Exploration for Earth Resources

Magnetotelluric (MT) is a passive geophysical method that uses natural electromagnetic field variations to map subsurface electrical resistivity and reveal geological structures. It is widely applied in mineral exploration, geothermal studies, sedimentary basin analysis, and lithospheric research, especially in areas where seismic imaging is difficult. This training course introduces the fundamentals of the MT method, including survey design, data acquisition, processing, interpretation, and modeling, with a strong focus on practical, hands-on learning.
