Geophysical Methods for Mineral Exploration
This course is designed for professionals and researchers in academia and industry who want to develop skills in geophysical methods for mineral exploration. It combines theory, practical sessions, and field training, including hands-on experience with geophysical instruments at the NGRI campus. Participants will learn key techniques such as Gravity & Magnetics, Magnetotellurics, Electrical Resistivity Tomography, SP & IP methods, and Electrical Vector Resistivity Imaging (EVRI), with instruction from experienced NGRI scientists.

IP Essentials
This course is an intensive, hands-on training program designed to develop practical skills in Intellectual Property (IP) and patent management. It combines lectures, demonstrations, and practical exercises covering patent searching, drafting, prior art analysis, IP strategies, commercialization, and institutional IP policies. Participants will also learn to identify patentable research outcomes, manage research disclosures, and build effective IP portfolios through continuous guided training. SEISMOLOGY From Seismograms to Subsurface - Decoding the Pulse of the Earth
The CSIR–National Geophysical Research Institute (CSIR-NGRI) is offering a 12-day intensive seismology workshop to equip students and professionals with practical skills and industry-ready expertise. The program covers seismic instrumentation, earthquake analysis, AI/ML applications, seismic hazard assessment, subsurface imaging, planetary and polar seismology, and hands-on training with advanced software.
