General Instructions for Candidates

Pre-requisites for Filling Application:

Before starting the multi-step online application form, please ensure that you have keep the following scanned documents ready. All files should be uploaded during Step 4.

Core Application Rules:
  1. Valid Email ID: Must be entered during registration. This acts as your login credential and communication channel.
  2. Mobile Number: Mandatory 10-digit working mobile number.
  3. Draft Feature: You can save a draft at every step. Auto-saving occurs when clicking 'Next'.
  4. Course Fee: Candidate must pay the fee based on the selected skill program and upload the transaction receipt + unique UTR number before final submit.
  5. No Modification: No details can be modified after clicking the final submit button. The application becomes locked.
  6. Supporting Document: Applicants must upload the relevant supporting document based on the category under which they are applying. For example, candidates applying under the M.Sc. Student category should upload a valid student ID card, Bonafide certificate, or any other proof of current enrollment.
Accommodation Details
  1. CSIR-NGRI Guest House (Twin Sharing Basis):₹600 per person per day for the first 6 days and ₹1,200 per person per day from the 7th day onwards
  2. Skills Development Quarters (Twin Sharing Basis):₹100 per person per day
  3. Staff Quarters / Research Scholars' Hostel (Twin Sharing Basis):₹50 per person per day
Refund Policy:
  1. If a training programme is postponed or cancelled by CSIR-NGRI, the registration fee paid by the applicant will be refunded in full.
  2. Applicants who are not shortlisted for the training programme will also be eligible for a full refund of the registration fee.
  3. Shortlisted candidates who are unable to attend the training programme due to unavoidable personal reasons may request a refund of the registration fee by submitting a written request to CSIR-NGRI before the commencement of the programme. Refunds will be processed in accordance with the institute's refund policy.
  4. The refund will be processed through the online mode of payment within the period of 20-25 working days.
